Candidates willing to study MBBS abroad will also have to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The maximum number of applications have been received from Maharashtra (2.28 lakh candidates). The second stated who has the highest applications is Uttar Pradesh(1.54 candidates).Karnataka is at 3rd position with 1.19 lakh applications followed by Tamil Nadu and Kerala with 1.17 and 1.16 lakh candidates, respectively.
